2019 Independence Day Celebration!

Join the Sunbury/Big Walnut Area Chamber of Commerce, Big Walnut Civic Association and the Village of Sunbury, for the 2019 July 4th Celebration!



All events take place on Thursday, July 4th, 2019.  Lots of fun for the entire family!  New attractions!

* 7 am - 3 pm: Antiques, Arts & Crafts Fair on the Square sponsored by the Sunbury/Big Walnut Area Chamber of Commerce!  50+ VENDORS REGISTERED!  (register online or click here for registration form to print & mail to:  PO Box 451, Sunbury, OH  43074.)  

** PLEASE NOTE!  WE WELCOME DIRECT SALES VENDORS AS WELL AS ANTIQUE/CRAFT VENDORS TO REGISTER BUT ONLY 1 OF EACH DIRECT SALES COMPANY.  THE FOLLOWING DIRECT SALES COMPANIES HAVE REGISTERED.  THIS LIST WILL BE UPDATED DAILY:

* 10 am:  Independence Day Parade sponsored by the Big Walnut Civic Association!  If you are interested in registering for the parade, please email bwcivic@gmail.com OR click on this link to print the registration & mail to:

* 11 am - 3 pm:  Kids Zone on the Square sponsored by the Sunbury/Big Walnut Area Chamber of Commerce!  New attractions this year including bounce houses & midway games for all ages; face painting, petting zoo & Kool-Aid stand!
         
     * a $2 wristband will provide your kid(s) unlimited access to Kids Zone! *

* 11:30 am - 1:30 pm - Walnut 4Her's will be running Fun Frolics games on the Square next to Kids Zone!  Join in the fun!   
 
* Right after the Parade:  Hot Dog Eating Contest on the Square sponsored by Eagle Automotive and Wandle & Associates! (register online or click here for registration & liability form to print)  Participants may also register the day of the event on a first come, first serve basis.  **WINNER WILL RECEIVE A CASH PRIZE - $200!!

* THE FUN CONTINUES AT BIG WALNUT HIGH SCHOOL FROM 6PM - 11PM!

*  7PM:  4th Annual Outhouse Race sponsored by Wells Septic!
