VIntage Valentines on Display
Description
Enjoy Vintage Valentines from the collection if Mary Lou Abel, Bill Whitney, Essa Willison, Lyal Rodgers, Paul Evarts and Polly Horn. Many of these are in the historical society collection but others are on load.
When the U.S. Post Office agreed to cut the postage on postcard in half, many Valentines were sent as 1 cent postcards. Mary Lou Able collected postcards and donated the Valentine ones to BWAHS.
